AlchemyPet is built on one idea: a fragile active is only useful if it survives the trip. This page explains the delivery system, the research behind each ingredient, and the limits of that research.

01 - The mechanism

Seaweed alginate, formed cold.

Alginate is a documented encapsulation material in food and pharmaceutical science. It gels at room temperature, so actives are not exposed to extrusion heat, and the shell is designed to hold together through storage and early digestion.

Encapsulate

In the four microencapsulated formulas, each active is enclosed in an alginate microsphere, forming a physical barrier around the compound. Immunity is not microencapsulated.

Shield in transit

The shell is designed to buffer the active through the shelf, the bowl, and early digestion.

Release further along

The sphere is designed to open lower in the tract, presenting the active later in digestion.

Our evidence standard

Published delivery-system literature supports the principle that alginate encapsulation can affect stability and release conditions for sensitive compounds. That literature is about the material, not proof of every finished AlchemyPet formula. Comparative finished-product work is on the roadmap and is not claimed until it exists.

Doses are taken from the label panels and the supplier formulation specifications. What an ingredient is studied for is not the same as proof about a finished formula, so this table states the first and not the second. Open the ingredient library

Research roadmap

What we are still testing.

An ingredient becomes a claim here only once we can name the source, the species studied, the endpoint, and the wording our reviewer approved. Until a row clears that bar it is published as ingredient data and nothing more, which is why some entries state what an ingredient is and stop there.

Match every ingredient to the formula it is in, the name on the label, and the amount in a serving.

Stage 02

Review the evidence

Name the species, material, dose, endpoint, and whether the study is product-specific.

Approve the words

Publish only the support language the reviewer and claim owner approve.
