Supports immune health by providing natural antioxidants that defend cells and maintain a balanced immune response.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a water-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and supports normal immune function, collagen synthesis, and iron absorption. Dogs synthesize some Vitamin C on their own, but supplemental intake can support immune resilience during periods of stress, aging, or heightened demand.
Directs calcium to bone and away from arteries, supporting skeletal and cardiovascular health.
Vitamin K2 activates the proteins that route calcium where it belongs. It helps carboxylate osteocalcin, which binds calcium into bone, and matrix Gla protein (MGP), which keeps calcium out of arterial walls and soft tissue. This dual role links K2 to both bone density and cardiovascular health, and it works alongside Vitamin D in calcium metabolism.
Aids in fat metabolism, supports energy production, and may improve exercise performance.
Carniking®/L-Carnitine: Studied directly in dogs. In Labrador Retrievers, Carniking® improved lean mass, exercise recovery, and antioxidant capacity, and helped prevent weight gain on high-calorie diets. Mechanistically, L-carnitine transports fatty acids into the mitochondria for energy, sparing muscle and supporting metabolic health.
Promotes relaxation without drowsiness, may improve focus and mental clarity.
An amino acid found in tea. Clinically studied to promote relaxation without drowsiness, reduce stress, improve focus and attention (especially with caffeine), and support sleep quality by increasing alpha brain waves.

Branded ingredient clinical studies
The actives inside are backed by their own trials.
Where we could, we chose branded, clinically studied ingredients over commodity botanicals. That means the research below was funded and published by the ingredient makers, and a veterinarian can read the upstream trials directly rather than take our word for it.
Several of these trials were run in dogs. The rest are human studies on the specific branded material. These describe the ingredients as supplied to us, not finished AlchemyPet formulas. Our own contribution is the second layer of delivery: alginate microencapsulation that protects these actives on the way to where absorption happens.
Dogs on Crominex®3+ showed a significant reduction in arthritic pain, measurable by day 90 and greatest at day 150, across overall pain, pain on limb manipulation, and pain after exertion. Placebo pain held steady or rose. Kidney, liver, and muscle serum markers stayed normal, indicating it was well tolerated.
